Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a sequel to the action game released in 2018 under the title Spider-Man, being a slightly smaller production than its predecessor. It was developed by the authors of the original, the Insomniac Games studio.

The main hero of the game Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a teenager gifted with supernatural powers. He has to assume the legacy of Peter Parker and take care of the safety of New Yorkers as the Spider-Man in his absence. Our protagonist quickly finds himself in the middle of a war between a technologically advanced group of criminals and an energy corporation.

In Spider-Man: Miles Morales the action is shown from the third person perspective (TPP). Authors give us the island Manhattan known from the first Spider-Man, which this time we can see in the winter version. As before, we move across the map swinging on webs, running on walls and jumping between buildings.

The driving force behind the game are missions pushing the story forward, accompanied by numerous side tasks and activities. An important role is played by dynamic clashes, during which Miles uses not only his own fists, but also a number of advanced gadgets, supports himself with a spider web and eliminates enemies using his unique, bioelectric abilities. In addition, the game has stealth sections that require us to be discreet, sneak behind the backs of enemies and neutralize them silently, as well as spectacular fights with bosses.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is powered by Insomniac Games' in-house technology. The game engine has been refined to take full advantage of the PlayStation 5 console. On PlayStation 5, not only does the title run at 4K resolution with ray tracing and 3D audio, but it can also run at 60 frames per second in a special mode. In addition, the game makes use of the unique features of the DualSense controller, namely haptic vibrations and adaptive triggers, as well as taking advantage of the capabilities of the SSD (the latter manifested mainly through almost instantaneous loading times).
