Naughty Dog has not had an easy life lately. After the official announcement of The Last of Us remake and the release of detailed information about ir - including its price - the developers were met with considerable criticism from gamers. Fans of the original accused the developers of, among other things, the fact that the cost of the refreshed work does not correspond to the quality it offers..
Perhaps the developers have taken these remarks to heart, because from time to time they upload footage showing how The Last of Us Remake has changed compared to the original. This time was no different, on its official Twitter the studio shared footage that juxtaposes the upcoming game with the original.
The latest comparison does not focus on characters (some time ago we wrote about the presentation of refreshed versions of Joel and Tess), but on horseback travel and related animations. The aforementioned gameplay element looks much more natural and even confusingly similar to what we had the opportunity to see in The Last of Us Part 2.
Despite all the criticism that has fallen on Naughty Dog, there is no denying the fact that the upcoming remake of the cult game looks really good. What strikes the eye is, above all, the quality of detail. In the refreshed version of The Last of Us we will see a much more detailed and authentic world. This applies to both the various types of environmental elements and vegetation, as well as lighting.
Finally, it is worth recalling that th premiere of The Last of Us Remake is set for September 2, this year. The game will first hit PS5 consoles, while shortly after this date the refreshed adventures of Joel and Ellie will be experienced by PC players (we wrote about it here). Unfortunately, at this point we do not know the release date of the title on PCs.
